  • Which animal would you choose?

    April 3rd, 2010 by RLove.us Admin

So, I’m 13 and I just love animals. I volunteer at a wildlife/domestic center and take care of both. I’ve gotten to play with the rabbits when I go there, and I’ve kind of fell in love with them! I’ve asked my parents and they are sort of agreeing. They said they’d take me to a rescue on Saturday, and my dad got me three books on them. But yesterday, at the pet store, I saw a baby guinea pig that looks exactly like one of my guinea pigs (I have two, a fixed male and one female that is not spayed). I got to hold him and I just fell in love with that little piggy too! He’s very adorable and friendly.

So I’m not sure! My dad said I would have to choose either buy the guinea pig twins (there were two brothers that looked alike), or two dwarf rabbits. I just don’t know! I have guinea pigs, so I know they are good pets. Which is better? Pros and cons of rabbits? Thanks
Plus we’d have to get both of the brothers (or maybe I might just get one of the brothers, though I hate to separate them) neutered. Since my female is not spayed, she’s too old to have babies (the whole pubic bones probably fused together, plus I do not want to risk having little babies!)

I would like to buy the rabbit. In this way, if you will be sick of it as a pet a rabbit roast deliscous!

I would go with the rabbit. It would be pretty fun. . . a bit difficult, but fun!

Hi, I had a guinea pig and I liked it! Now I have a rabbit. . . Shes very, very soft and cuddly, very playful, but not matter what you like plush (rabbit), or playful and cuddly (guinea pigs)

Well, it’s a difficult decision. . I’m not sure you know this, but damn rabbit (much). To have your rabbit cage clean about 2 times per week. Guinea pigs make great pets and are soft, but how many animals they bite. . not much, but they do and the men crazy, if they are women weather will be corrected or not. I would go with the rabbit, just because your guinea pig is supplied is safe and well. Although the rabbit like you. But again, this is not my decision and I’m not worried about your decision because they are supported in every case the animal. :)

I say guinea pigs are the better choice. If ur scared again, just do not put them together. Irrespective of age of the women a pet. There is still pregnant and had a lil. Good luck with ur choice

Hi Ive had found rabbits and hamsters in the past and I’ve that rabbits not half as much fun as the guinea pig, as I sure you know, I had for 5 years and I do not like it, such as guinea pigs stroked to do . I now have 2 male guinea pigs Texel (brothers) and they are adorable my daughter the same age as you and she said, they are much better than rabbits.

When both the PetStore are men. . . and you have a wife. . . You want to have three cages: one for the two you already (castrated male / female) and one brother in each other cages because no rescue was in a position to more than one male in the presence of a female care, without fighting. If you have two cages (castrated male / female) and brothers, they are still struggling because they can smell. They would not even be able to keep only one of the brothers, as (if not neutered), he was able to race your wife (which, as you said, is too old – that could be dangerous), and he will try to fight with your husband. . . . . . it might be a different story if you do not have a wife, but you do. . . My opinion is: Do not breed or buy while shelter animals die. . . I would go for rabbits because they will not have to build two more cages, and you will live (I’m assuming Save your arrival a rabbit, where you and volunteers not PetStore..?). . . .
