  • Seniors, leaving the house daily may help you live longer

    December 13th, 2017 by RLove.us Admin

When you’re and older adult it may seem that one of the best things to do is to stay within the comforts of your home and avoid any risks or dangers that the outside world may have. Though, this may be slightly true researchers have found going and experiencing the outside world may help you live longer. Staying inside does not only have negative physical effects due to lack of exercise but it also may lead mental health issues as well. Those mental health issues can lead to anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. The study was done on a large number of older adults in the age range of 70 to 90 years old. The results showed that older adults that left their homes more often had a lower mortality risk compared to those who didn’t go outside as often. To see more details on the study and deeper look into the results please see the full article.
