Does anyone know a group of international volunteers, such as the Peace Corps, but with volunteer time of 6-12 months?

Assist International in Senegal

Assist International sends in a four member team to build two structures to hold Polytanks. These tanks hold a three day supply of filtered water for the hospital in case the municipal supply is shut off, as is often the case.
Clements International Volunteers at So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.)

On November 20, 2008 about 40 members of Clements’ staff volunteered to prepare and serve meals to those in need at “So Others Might Eat” (SOME) a Washington DC based non-profit. Over the course of a few hours, roughly 500 meals were served.
