talking brief about I got my hearing aids fixed! and apologized for wearing black boring shirt- getting ready to go work. Had two things to discuss, one thing is, if you had few deaf members in your family, do you say you have hearing family with one or two deaf, or say mixed family? or how do you think its approperiate to describe? the last thing is, talking about people who whine about teaching hearing an ASL- when they got excellent high pay, when deaf people get low pay- I DISAGREE- It’s benefit for BOTH, get BOTH side win-win, remember today, most universities require ASL teacher with a degree- compared to community college- required no degree- varies of pay for deaf teachers, and, community center is volunteer teaching… Its like you teach your child for FREE- does that benefits? YES! No different! accept that we are recieving good interpreting service, because they’ve been taught by deaf people- or else, if you guys whine, means no qualify interpreters? Is that what you guys want? I think you guys shouldn’t whine in first place- appreciate what we have!
