I can’t join the Peace Corps because I have not finished a degree. I really want to spend a year abroad. I would love to volunteer to help people, but I do not have money to put into it- just my time. What can I do?

Im looking for something fror someone from the age of 14-18. I’m also looking for something in the midwest area. Kansas, Missiour, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, places around this area. If you could help me that would be great! Im not just looking for single possitions i’m also interested in group ones too.

I am in 11th grade right now(well, a senior after tomorrow). I want to find some volunteer opportunities because I need a lot of community service. I only have about 53 hours now, and I want at least over 100 hours. However, I really want to volunteer in a dental clinic but I searched and searched all over the web and can’t find anything! I am high school junior and I want to volunteer in research institutes or hospitals. I plan on majoring in Biology when I go to college, therefore I wanna gain volunteer experience and research as a volunteer.

I’m not completely antisocial, but I do like working by myself often. I’m looking for a project that I can lead/teach/serve/speak out for. Any ideas?
I like to read, write, and go online if that helps….

right now i am in BBBS and some smaller vol. stuff like “rake a difference” but what else should i do??
