There are numerous organizations online, with different prices, packages, etc. Previously volunteered in Costa Rica, choose the cheapest Org, last minute, and had a horrible experience with the Org, but an amazing time in the country of course!! Any suggestions would be great, because I’m lost right now!!! Thank you!!!

I want to help both places out but I don’t know how. Does anyone have any ideas? I volunteer at the soup kitchen, but I want to do more.

I’m thinking of going overseas to do some volunteer work, using my professional skills.

However, I’ve only been in my industry for 3 years, first job that pays more then I’d usually expect. If I want to volunteer, I’d have to quit.

Has anyone ever done it? Experiences? What should I consider other than financial reason?

I have no commitments, but just scared I’ll come back to nothing.
