I’ve been on medical disability for the past 3 1/2 years after working for 6 years and will be looking for a job soon. How do I explain this job gap on a resume? Also, in preparation for getting back to work, I’ve been volunteering this past year. Do I include this and if so, where?

I’m seventeen years old and a junior in highschool. I am really looking for volunteer jobs and I figured my local hospital would be a great place to start. I love the whole medical field and I would really like a future in medical. I want to make sure i get a hold of this oppurtunity, and run with this. Please give me some advice in my letter i’m going to write them. Thanks.

I can’t join the Peace Corps because I have not finished a degree. I really want to spend a year abroad. I would love to volunteer to help people, but I do not have money to put into it- just my time. What can I do?

Hi,
I’m 16 and animals are my passion. I have always been a dog person, but recently- I have been getting more into wildlife.
At my High School, we have an animal program with hundreds of animals, including exotics. I have worked with raccoons, opossums, alligators, skunks, degus, and many othe typical housepets as well. I would love to find a summer job, or volunteer program somewhere near me- where I can continue doing this.
I want to be apart of a program, like a zoo… or something.
How can I go about doing this?
I don’t know where to start. Any advice?

They are just amazing animals.
