Where should I go for my gap year?

    February 10th, 2010

I’ve made the decision to take a year (or at least a semester) off. I’m looking at working or volunteering abroad. No matter what I do, I want to be making a difference. Whether this comes through helping children, community development, or anything else remains to be seen.

Any suggestions of organizations that run good programs? If you need more specific information, I’m a 19 year old in the United States.
